1. The attendance of the blog is on the increase. For example, you who are reading this, maybe you're not only connected! Maybe you're both! Or even three at once! While champagne, petits fours, etc.. but virtual ... yet.
2. We played a new show.
So do not try again in the press because it is not updated yet, but BIRD FLIES are now well and truly. This is a concert for children, with sets painted cardboard, a jumble of feathers and puppets, folding, paper crafts, and especially music, songs, all punctuated with a rhyme in red thread.
We have been conquered by the very good response from children aged 5 months (!) To ... at least 12 years at the Foyer de l'Enfance, in Nimes.
Two words on this structure, which caters for children in distress, most often placed by court order, whose teams faced with these often tragic fates, messed, fragile, commands respect. We always enjoy playing it, and besides, we have shown all of our shows. Thank you to them, so thank you and the children, and their overwhelming enthusiasm. Promised, next year, again!
3. Two theaters in addition, we plan to schedule this season: L'Astrolabe at Sorgue (near Avignon ... we get closer!) and Carpe Diem, Marseille.
L'Astrolabe invites us to play a show that is not yet established (First in February in the Var) for over seven years. He is reading a novel by Jørn Riel, "The boy who wanted to become a Human Being." This will be scripted - I play a character, led by a clever effect scenario (¡) to read the text - and Maite will host a shadow theater, a sound original, made of various loans to Inuit music , to jazz, sounds, etc..
Carpe Diem is a small theater located in the Belle de Mai. This area of Marseille is still, to put it modestly "in conversion". That is extreme poverty are everywhere, a cultural dynamism evident with Friche Belle de Mai, and an economic boom based on the television studios (Plus Belle la Vie, LCM, FR3 and so on. ) that form a bit of a fortress with little technological contribution to the lively neighborhood. It is rebuilt, following the closure of its once thriving industrial activities, of its businesses, and considerable dilapidation of its buildings, and Carpe Diem, with others, stands out as an island in this "cafoutche," as they say here. We have received an exceptional welcome, and we will discuss further when we have played (see "Dates to come" ).
